Athletic mares are better broodmares!
It’s not really a question whether the mare side is just as important (if not more) than the stallions’ in breeding. We put our trust into great athletes such us our very own Oh d’Eole SA and China Touch Hero SA to pass on their athletic abilities, but choosing the right recipient mares is of great importance too!
Since we work with mares competing at the highest level of the sport, sometimes finishing their career quite late, they don’t carry the foals, but our amazing recipient mares do the hard work of raising the foals for them! We put huge emphasis on their well-being, making sure that their paddocks are big enough for their daily run and their pile of hay is waiting for them when they decide to come in!
