Quanta Costa’s ancestors are Arezzo VDL (Chin Chin) and Jynthe Van Het Keysersbos (Indoctro).
As for Arezzo’s sire line, it is famous for gifting the world with five generations of Grand Prix jumpers in a row: Chin Chin, Heartbreaker, Renville, Jasper and Akteur. Arezzo’s dam line is a great example for quality performance. The most famous representatives are Dragonfly with Nicole Simpson and Nacorde who won the Hamburg Derby three times with Andre Thieme. Both are half-brothers to Arezzo’s dam, Sarjolijn ‘Ster and Prestatie’.

Besides Arezzo she also is the ancestor of international jumpers Zodermus M and Bubka VDL. Most of Arezzo’s and Jynthe Van Het Keysersbos’s descendants are already jumping at the highest Grand Prix level. Ridden by Marlon Modolo Zanotelli for example, VDL Edgar M has proved its place within the world’s best showjumpers. He finished in the fantastic 5th place in the Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Prague and also gained 2nd place in the GCT GP Rome, 3rd place in GP Brussel and 4th place GP Geneve amongst other wins. Ridden by Jessica Kuerten and Jur Vrieling, Arezzo has achieved many other successes in sport. Under Jessica, Arezzo won the Grand Prix of Odense plus a prestigious 1.50m class at Indoor Brabant. On his mother’s side, the brilliant Jynthe Van Het Keysersbos was born in 2009 and her highest jump is 1.35m.
